    Southern League

    The Sunnyvale Southern Little League will hold signups for the 2001 season for players to age 16 on Saturdays, through Jan. 27, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. each day, at the De Anza Park Rec Building (off Ticonderoga).

    National League

    The Sunnyvale National Little League will hold signups for the 2001 season for players to age 16 on Saturdays, through Jan. 27, from 9-2 p.m. each day, and Wednesdays, through Jan. 31, 6-9 p.m. each day, at the Sunnyvale Senior Center, McKinley and Pastoria. Call 408.732.5021.

    Challenger League

    Little League District 44 will is holding signups for physically and mentally disabled youngsters, ages 7-17, interested in playing in the Challenger Division program for the 2001 season.

    Registration is free, and players can register at any regular District 44 registration date. Play is from March to June.

    High school rugby

    The Silicon Valley Rugby Football Club is looking for high school players (ages 14-18) from Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Saratoga, Mountain View and Santa Clara for the spring season.
