The following items were culled from reports filed by officers at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Carjacking--11:40 p.m., March 4 on the 700 block of Fair Oaks Avenue. Armed with a handgun, a man robbed another man of his car and drove off. No one was injured. The car was recovered, and police are looking for the suspect, identified as a black male standing 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing between 160 and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a military-style, knee-length jacket, dark pants and a light green knit cap.
Hit and run--March 4, Fair Oaks and Ahwahnee avenues. A Sunnyvale man was cited for hitting another car and causing injury to a passenger.
Burglary--5 p.m., 1100 block of Kern Avenue. A Sunnyvale man was arrested on three counts of burglary and on a charge of fraudulent use of an access card. Bail was set at $40,000.
Theft--March 3,1600 block of Hollenbeck Road. A Saratoga man was arrested, and bail was set at $400.
Drugs--5:30 a.m., Evelyn Avenue and Wolfe Road. A Santa Clara man was arrested for being under the influence of methamphetamine and an intoxicating beverage.
Embezzlement--5:54 p.m. on the 200 block of Washington Avenue. A San Jose man was also arrested on charges of conspiracy and petty theft. A Sunnyvale man was arrested on similar charges.
