Soccer camps
A summer soccer camp for youth ages 5-16 will be held Aug. 11-15 and again Aug. 18-22 at De Anza Community College in Cupertino.
The cost is $90 for the camp that runs 9 a.m.-noon each day, $175 for the full-day camp and $100 for the advanced camp.

Adult sports
The Sunnyvale Recreation Department will accept applications through Aug. 20 for adult teams interested in playing basketball or softball this fall. Seasons begin Sept. 7.
The registration fee is $520 for basketball or $350 for softball (plus $10 for each nonresident in each sport).

Soccer camp
Cupertino AYSO Region 35 will team with Major League Soccer to host a summer soccer camp for kids Aug. 11-15 at Jollyman Park on Stelling Road in Cupertino.
Youngsters ages 5-6 attend 9-10:30 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.-noon, and the camp fee is $55 per player.
Camp hours are 9 a.m.-noon for players ages 7-11, and players ages 12-18 attend from 2-5 p.m. Fees are $95 per player in each age group.
All campers will receive a T-shirt, a soccer ball, a MLS "goody bag" and expert instruction from MLS certified soccer coaches.

Basketball camps
The San Jose Lasers of the American Basketball League will hold summer basketball camps for boys and girls in August at San Jose State University.
The camps, led by members of the Lasers and the team's coaching staff, will be held Aug. 11-14, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. each day, for girls in grades 8-12 and Aug. 18-21, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. each day, for girls and boys in grades 3-8. The cost is $205 per player.

.Hockey tournament
A roller hockey tournament for players under11 will be held Aug. 9 at Roosevelt Park in San Jose. The cost is $150 per team, and each team is guaranteed three games. For more information, call 277-5556.
