Many cultures came together for the Sunnyvale International Street Faire on Sept. 24. The street faire, held on Olive Avenue between city hall and the library, was hosted by the Sunnyvale Library and Parks and Recreation Department. Fifty community groups and organizations provided entertainment. Crafts such as Indian Henna temporary tattoos, Kumihimo Japanese weaving, Japanese brush painting on ceramic tiles were available for children of all ages. Eighteen different performers took to three stages. There were also food booths providing delicacies from African, Mexican, Asian, and Indian cuisine.
