    Public Safety

    The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Public Safety Department

    Burglary (Commercial)--Oct. 1, 6:10 p.m., 100 block of E. El Camino Real. Suspect entered a liquor store, loaded a cart with liquor and left without paying. Suspect is still at large.

    Auto Burglary (Residential)--Oct. 2, 6 p.m., 600 block of San Juan. A car stereo CD player was stolen from a vehicle.

    Grand Theft (Commercial)--Oct. 3, 1:40 p.m., 500 block of N. Mary Avenue. A laptop computer valued at approximately $3,500 was taken from a business.

    Burglary (Commercial)--Oct. 3, 9:30 a.m., 500 block of East Weddell. Unknown suspect forced entry of a rollup door and took computer parts valued at approximately $3,000.

    Felon with Firearm--Oct. 4, 1:44 a.m., 800 block of Partshire. A search of suspicious parked vehicle revealed a loaded sawed-off shotgun, handgun, pepper spray, mask, gloves, tape and two-way radios. All subjects were arrested.

    Burglary (Residential)--Oct. 4, 3:23 p.m., 900 block of Belmont Terrace. Unknown suspect gained entry to a residence and took various jewelry items valued at approximately $17,500.

    Petty Theft--Oct. 5, 6:53 p.m., 500 block of East El Camino Real. Suspect gathered about $190 worth of grocery items and left store without paying. Suspect was apprehended by store security while loading items into vehicle.
