The following incidents were culled from reports filed by the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Armed robbery-Oct. 30, 8:57 p.m., 800 block of El Camino Real. Two men entered an auto parts store and demanded that employees empty the cash register. Both men were carrying guns. One customer was injured when she was hit in the face by one of the gunmen. She was not seriously injured.
Vandalism--Oct. 30, 4:26 p.m., 500 block of El Camino Real. A man was arrested after a property owner caught him spray-painting on his wall.
Theft--Oct. 30. 3:50 p.m., 1100 block of Kern Avenue. A man entered a store and removed merchandise from the shelf. He then took the merchandise out of its packaging and placed it into his right front pocket. He was arrested by store security.
Burglary--Oct. 30 4:15 p.m., 400 block of Pala Avenue. A man returned to his car to find that the passenger door was open. A hole had been punched into the door next to the lock. The stereo was taken.
Domestic abuse--Oct. 27, 10:15 p.m., 900 block of Henderson Avenue. A man was arrested for violating a court order to stay away from his wife. An emergency restraining order had been placed on the man Oct. 21 for beating his wife. Officers noticed the man's car outside the woman's house and investigated. The man was found inside and arrested.
Armed robbery--Oct. 27, 1:50 a.m., 400 block of Acalanes Avenue. Two men confronted a couple as they were entering their apartment complex. The men had handguns and demanded the couple's wallets. The couple was not injured.
