Don't forget kibble in that stocking

The Humane Society of Santa Clara Valley is asking residents to make a difference in the life of a homeless animal this holiday season.

While buying food and toys for pets, the society urges residents to buy extras to donate to the Humane Society of Santa Clara Valley's Holiday Food and Toy Drive. Dry dog and cat kibble, training treats and toys are on the animals wish list this year.

The Humane Society, located at 2530 Lafayette St. in Santa Clara, is open 24 hours a day to receive donations. For more information, call 727-3383, ext. 854.
