Public Safety
The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Burglary—Nov. 21, 5 p.m., 1000 block of W. Remington Drive. Man noticed that a tapestry was missing from his storage unit. The area is a locked building that can be accessed by other tenants.

Under the influence of stimulant—Nov. 22, 2:48 a.m., corner of Caroll and Washington avenues. The officers stopped a man, and after searching his person, they found a glass pipe in his pocket. The man admitted to having smoked amphetamines approximately five hours earlier. The man was arrested and booked, and a sample of his blood was taken.

Domestic violence—Nov. 22, 10:30 a.m., 1000 block of Morse Avenue. Officers responded to a call of a domestic dispute. Officers outside could hear crying inside. They contacted residents inside the house. The two people were interviewed, both describing an argument regarding a child. During the argument, one of the people threw a vacuum cleaner across the room in anger.

Burglary—Nov. 22, 11 p.m., 1100 block of Tucson Avenue. Officers responded to a report of an automobile burglary. Two days earlier, the reporting man had locked and secured his car. When he returned later, he was missing a stereo, CDs, a Nike watch, $20 cash, two pairs of sunglasses and a digital camera.

Possession of marijuana—Nov. 21, 9:47 p.m., corner of Maude and San Angelo avenues. Officers stopped a man for crossing the street without a crosswalk. The officer found 7.8 grams of marijuana in his pocket.
