The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
Resisting arrest—March 27, 2:40 p.m., 600 block of West Olive Avenue. An officer contacted a man he suspected had been living in his vehicle. The man refused to remove his hands from his pants pockets after being ordered to do so multiple times by the officer. He was arrested and booked into county jail.

Possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamines—March 26, 11:15 p.m., 500 block of East Taylor Avenue. A man was contacted by public safety officers on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance. A substance in his possession tested positive as a methamphetamine and he was found to be under its influence. He was arrested and booked.

Vandalism—March 26, 8 p.m., 800 block of San Aleso Avenue. A woman found that all four of her car's tires had been slashed with a knife or sharp object.

Violation of a protective order—March 26, 2:20 a.m., 800 block of Borregas Avenue. A man violated a protective order by contacting the woman who has the order against him. When police arrived, he was found to be under the influence of a stimulant, and a pipe used for smoking the substance was found in his possession.

Possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamines—March 25, 11:05 a.m., Borregas and Duane avenues. Officers responded to a report of a man on his roof screaming about wanting to die. He had also been throwing metal shingles at people. The man was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance.
