Town Center Update
The Sun periodically provides updates on the $400 million Town Center redevelopment project headed by Sand Hill Property Co.
*Construction of parking garages in the two westerly blocks of the development continues on the third level of each garage.
*The easterly project fence in the Macy's parking lot will be moved in the next few weeks to permit work on building pads south of Macy's.
*Significant utility and street work on Washington Avenue east of Mathilda Avenue is planned to start in the next two weeks. Notices will be sent to downtown merchants and nearby residents.
