The following incidents were compiled from the log at the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.

Assault--April 6, 12:51 a.m., 200 block of W. Maude Avenue. Someone reported being hit by a former "significant other."

Battery--April 5, 11:20 p.m. 600 E. El Camino Real. Twenty or 30 individuals engaged in a fight involving bottles.

Theft--April 5, 10:52 a.m., 1000 W. El Camino Real. A laptop valued at $1,400 was stolen.

Theft--April 5, 9:04 a.m., 500 block of N. Fair Oaks Avenue. Someone stole a 12-pack of beer from a store.

Assault--April 5, 1:05 a.m., 100 block of W. Evelyn Avenue. An individual was "jumped" by five subjects.

Auto accident--April 4, 10:01 p.m., 900 block of Bryant Way. A vehicle struck a fence and mailbox.

Assault--April 4, 7:37 p.m., 900 block of W. Fremont. Someone punched a clerk at a store.

Burglary--April 4, 5:08 p.m.,1400 block of Firebird Way. An individual fled after being seen attempting to enter a home through a window.

Theft--April 4, 12:24 p.m., 900 block of Sterwart Drive. The rear license plate was stolen from a car.

Theft--April 4, 12:02 p.m., 1000 block of Essex Avenue. Someone reported a bike valued at $250 was stolen.

Theft--April 4, 10:01 a.m., 1000 block of E. El Camino Real. A cash register was reported missing.

Auto accident--April 3, 9:07 p.m., W. Fremont Avenue. A bicyclist was found laying in the roadway.

Embezzlement--April 3, 10:43 a.m., 600 Kifer Road. Two employees were arrested for embezzlement.

Auto theft--April 3, 4:25 a.m., 1000 block of Aster Avenue. Someone stole a 1989 red Ford Mustang.

Auto accident--April 2, 5:58 p.m., W. El Camino Real. A car hit a bicyclist.
