If Lincoln Avenue seems a bit cleaner these days, it may be because San Jose District 6 City Councilman Ken Yeager has arranged for extra trash pickup on Saturdays.  More The San Jose Planning Commission has voted 6-1, with Commissioner John G. Zamora opposing, to allow the rezoning of a major shopping center in southern Willow Glen.  More As far as refurbishing Willow Glen public schools, the San Jose Unified School District is about ready to sweep away the sawdust, pack up its tools and move on to other things.  More
