WGLL sign-ups
The Willow Glen Little League will hold early sign-ups for the 2003 baseball season on Dec. 5, 69 p.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
The league is open to boys and girls ages 518 who live within league boundaries. Players must provide a certified birth certificate as proof of age and also proof of residency (a PG&E, water or phone bill).

Girls soccer
Soccer training will begin soon for girls in the under-11 age group planning to play in the 2003 spring season. Jorge Espinoza, a soccer professional with more than 20 years of experience, will lead the training sessions, which will help girls develop skills to play at every level, from recreation to class 1. Youth sports grants
The Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame (BASHOF) is accepting grant applications from youth organizations and schools interested in purchasing new sports equipment.
The BASHOF Youth Fund has provided nearly $2 million to more than 350 sports organizations in the 11 counties of the Bay Area since its inception in 1981.
