Palm Haven Neighborhood associations School layoffs
Power wires and stakes have damaged two historic palm trees in the Palm Haven community. Now residents are rallying to protect their neighborhood's namesakes.  More On March 8 representatives from various neighborhood associations took part in a grant-writing workshop, courtesy of District 4 County Supervisor James Beall and the city of San Jose.  More The San Jose Unified School District distributed 133 "notification of reassignment or release" slips to its credentialed management employees on March 15 stating that their positions may not be available in the fall.  More
